How has the QRC space impacted you?
I haven’t spent too much time in the QRC but in the little time that I have, it’s become a safe space for me to open up and be public about my identity. It’s somewhere I know I can be comfortable being who I am, which I am nonetheless, but it’s somewhere I know I won’t receive pushback or aggression for it. I’ve met a lot of wonderful people here who I feel like I can relate to, and I’m afraid that without the QRC that wouldn’t have happened.
What about the QRC do you think would be lost in the move to a smaller space?
We’ve made this current space into one that is ours as a community. We would be losing that with the move, and not only that, but the space and recourses that are provided by the QRC would have to he limited even more so as a result.
